Hello,

I would request a profile evaluation. My details are as below:

Gender: Male
Age :30
Nationality: India
Degree : BE (Mechanical), 2009 (63%)+ PG Certificate in Environment Management, 2010 (75%)

Work Ex: 8 +
Field: Consulting, Energy and Environment Sustainability

Area of interest : MBA preferably finance domain

I am looking forward to applying INSEAD, HEC, IE, IESE, LBS. Most of them offers 1 year MBA.

Should I consider 2 year programs and look for top B-Schools in US as well?

Which would be most suited course for my background and colleges?

Thanks in advance.

Hello iPrasad

For a meaningful feedback please add details around the nature of your work, career progress, achievements at work and extracurricular activities along with expected GMAT (if possible)
Coming to your career goals, based on the limited info, not sure how an MBA in finance will tie in with your past skills/experience. Information around future career goals is also missing, so tough to evaluate whether the list of schools is apt or not. US B schools or suitable course will also depend on the same.
You can read here on what makes a complete profile and
here on career goals.

iPrasad if you are focusing on one-year programs to save money I invite you to consider the bigger picture, graduating salary, geographic preference, work authorization, alumni concentration in terms of geography/helpfulness, etc. Also agreed you will def need some data points mapping where you are to your future finance goal or else an MBA will just look like career desperation. if finance is in fact your interest, add LBS here. The program is flexible in length.
