Qualification - Chartered Accountant .
(passed 1st attempt)
College - B.Com - HR, Mumbai
School - Lawrence , Lovedale
Work ex-
Ernest and young , Mumbai ,
audit for 2 years
(Got 2 promotions during that)
Purnartha , Pune -
Equity research Analyst - 1 year
Worked closely with the senior leadership team
RKS Motor / Saboo Autozone

Family business - Automobile Dealers for Maruti Suzuki and Ashok Leyland .

Hi, and thanks for writing! It sounds like you have progressive work experience. Regarding which schools to apply to - that will depend in part on your GMAT (a high score is a must for Indian applicants in particular) as well as your GPA. Regarding your activities - are they from college or post-college?
CBS has excellent family business resources. Regarding other schools that are strong in this area - look for a "Family Business Club" or something along their lines among their offerings. Programs that have such an organization tend to be strongest in this area.
Regarding private equity - it's very competitive to enter, and post-MBA generally only those with prior PE experience, or investment banking experience, are able to enter the field.
