Hi swaroop ansp,

You're ultimately asking Admissions questions, so you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of them here:

Unfortunately, until you have an Official GMAT score, there likely isn't a practical way for anyone to evaluate your 'chances' of getting accepted at any particular School/Program.

Hi swaroop ansp,

A June Test Date gives you plenty of time to study (or continue studying) for the GMAT. Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How long have you studied so far (or have you just started)?
2) What materials have you used?
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
4) What is your goal score?

Sir,
I have just started my prep. I am doing it from Manhattan study materials. I am looking for study plan for quants and verbal specifically. I didnt take any test till now. Pls help me how to start? My target score is around 740 sir.

Hi swaroop ansp,

Since it sounds like you're just beginning your studies, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can download 2 for free from www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). If you want to do a little studying first, so that you can familiarize yourself with the basic content and question types, then that's okay - but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT. That score will give us a good sense of your natural strengths and weaknesses and will help provide a basis for comparison as you continue to study. A FULL CAT takes about 4 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan.

sir, i got q(43) v(27) overall 580 in manhattan gmat test. Pls help me. My target is 740 in gmat. i am planning to give it in the month of MAY 2017 (end )

Hi swaroop ansp,

A 580 is a solid initial CAT score (the average score on the Official GMAT hovers around 540-550 most years). Raising that score to a 740+ will take some significant work though - and you'll have to make improvements to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections. You will likely need at least 3 months of consistent, guided study to get to that level; you would likely find it beneficial to invest in a GMAT Course of some type (either Guided Self-Study or instructor-led). Since it sounds like you have the MGMAT books, you can start there if you like. I suggest that you study as you see fit for the next 2 weeks, then take a NEW, FULL-LENGTH CAT (with the Essay and IR sections). That score result will help to define how well you're improving and what adjustments might need to be made.
