Hello,
I am a Brazilian male, 26 years old.
Undergraduate: Economics at top 1 university in Brazil (University of São Paulo).
GMAT: 730 (Projected score - scored 730 on my last two GMAT Prep tests)
Fluent in Portuguese and English, Intermediate Spanish.
Work Experience: Controller at family business (2.5 years total experience):
My father has a 8000+ acre farm in Brazil that produces corn, soybean, sugar cane, beef cattle.
Our annual net revenue is 10 million BRL.
- While still in college, I implemented the farm´s financial planning process from scratch (budget, financial reports, etc)
- Managed an investment project of a 3 million BRL (1 million USD) grain elevator, among other investments.
- Today I manage a team of 3 accounting assistants.
Short term goal: MBB Consulting.
Long term goal: Expand our activities into grain trading or other activities in agribusiness.
Other activities and volunteer experiences:
Jiu Jitsu (martial art) semi professional athlete, with many important medals. I train since I was 15 years old.
I have been involved in several social programs, teaching Jiu Jitsu for free to low income kids and teenagers in Brazil.
2 years ago, I co-founded a volunteer program with the goal of teaching JJ and stimulating kids to compete and stay away from drugs and the main problems of Brazilian poor neighborhoods. We provide uniforms and sponsorships to those who want to compete.
I would like to know my chances of getting admitted at:
Sloan, Haas, Kellogg, Yale, Duke, UCLA, Emory, Marshall (USC).
I would also like to know what are the strong and weak points of my profile.

Thanks for your post. Overall I feel you have quite a few strengths to your profile, and as long as your GMAT goes as predicted, then you should be qualified to apply to those top schools. That said, those are extremely competitive programs and they turn away strong candidates every year too, so there are never guarantees... but if you put together strong applications hopefully you'll be considered.
The following strengths stand out to me:
-work experience at your family company, including not just the time as controller but the experiences in the past implementing the financial processes, and the likely on-going exposure you have to the business
-some people management skills
-community program you created and passion for it
In terms of potential weaknesses or challenges, there are not too many that I know of (but more unknowns as per below), but one small point is the # of years of full-time work experience will be lower than average. That is not insurmountable, just means you should of course play up the work you've done in the past/during undergrad with the family business and show the quality of your experiences to date.
The following are of course unknown:
-GMAT
-essays
-recommendations
-interview
And I'm not sure how strong your academic performance was, but an econ degree is of course challenging and from a strong university is a plus.
As you likely know, MIT will be the biggest reach on your list. Good luck on the GMAT and keep us posted!!
