See my notes above(2) What B-Schools can I target for ? (with cost constraints mentioned below)
Constraint:
So then target some of the schools like Wisconsin for scholarships Not more than 50 lakh INR (or) 75k USD (including living expense). Willing to take abroad options if scholarships are available.
(3) How to differentiate my essays from others of similar profile, since my profile mostly looks like that of a typical IT Male applicant ?
This is the 64,000 question! (an old show...) In any case, yes- how to set yourself apart- and there is not a quick answer here. That's where admissions consultants can work with clients one on one and help probe to get those unique stories that are inside of you. (4) Anything which I can do to improvise my profile in the next few months ?
Yes- the introspection- asking yourself where you come alive, looking for themes in your work- and if you want a free consult with us go to stratusprep.com and we can give more specific insights(5) Are there any other alternative, possible suggestions for long term / short term goal ? Based on your suggestions, I am planning to learn more about them to find whether they suits my interests or plan. (Not interested in Finance)
(6) Should I improve my GMAT Score (retake) to target better schools within my reach ?
I think your GMAT is strong- if you have the inclination and think you can do better- you can always redo- but I think doing the school specific research is the best way to spend your time now. Go to the schools you target - use my list if that helps- and go deep there- talk to students, find out about the programs that excite you, the professors, the trips, and then really look at how you can convey that in essays and in the interview process! Good luck! Thanks
