Hi stars1996,
Thanks for posting your profile! I think you have a lot of strengths in your profile - excellent academic track record (GPA, GMAT score), robust career trajectory (promotion), and solid extracurriculars.
The good news is that management consulting firms are often big recruiters at the top US MBA programs. Take a look at the schools' employment reports (published on their websites) to see who are the top employers on campus. This can give you a sense of which schools to target depending on which company you most admire and would like to join.
As you think about narrowing down your school list, do also consider geography, class size, and what industry/function you think you might be most interested in after a few years in management consulting. For example, a school's alumni network is often strongest in the region where the school is based. Do you see yourself potentially putting down roots in that region?
Finally, to gauge if a school is a target/reach/safety for you, you can review that school's typical class profile. For example, how many years of work experience does its incoming class have? Does it match yours? What's the school's average GMAT score? Is it higher or lower than yours? If your profile fits the typical incoming class profile for that school, especially the GMAT, you may consider that school to be a "target", which means you would be a competitive candidate.
I hope this can provide you some food for thought. If you would like to discuss your profile in more detail, feel free to schedule a 1:1 consultation with us. Wishing you the best in your MBA journey!
Sincerely,
Debbie
