Hi sajalsharma,

Welcome to GMATClub!

To begin with, Follow Bunuel at the Math Forum
His signature contains some awesome questions that give you the true taste of GMAT
You could find this collection in "Collection of Questions" (eg : Baker's Dozen, 12 Easy Pieces etc..)
Make sure you solve each and every question he puts up on the forum.

IMO, the best way to go about the GMAT Quant preparation is to
work on your weak areas using the Quantitative Mega-thread
This thread contains theory for all the Quant topics. It makes sense to understand the theory associated
with each topic and follow that up with some related practice. You can find practice questions on
specific topics, here at GMATClub(Search by tag).

If you are specific looking for a book, I have heard that the Manhattan Guides are your best best
(at least at the starting level). For testing the concepts that you have tests, you could also take the
GMATClub Tests!

Hope this helps you!

Dear All,

Can someone please suggest some good books for Quant for practice.

Hi sajalsharma,

You can also try out the MGMAT guides they are phenomenal and cover the entire syllabus really well. I must add that if you are particularly looking to discover and improve on your weak areas in quant; a subscription to GMATCLUB tests is the best way to do that. They are indeed phenomenal and will not only pinpoint your weak areas but also help you improve on them.

Further taking multiple mocks might help. Apart from the GMATPREP, Manhattan GMAT tests and Veritas Prep Tests in my experience have good verbal and Quant section and will certainly help you point out and improve your weak areas.

Further another advantage of taking many mocks is to build up your stamina. Apart from the GMATPREP tests, taking practise tests of any major GMATPREP company ought to do that.

I would also encourage you practice all the questions twice from the latest version of OG and Quant review.

Hope this helps. All the best.
