Hi SISDIT,

There's a significant difference between performing well on a set of RC prompts in a book and performing well on RC while taking a full, adaptive CAT (in which you'll have to 'jump' between RC, SC and CR). Since you haven't provided any information on your CAT Scores, before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials have you used?
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)? Please list each Exam.

Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi Rich,

Thanks for your reply :)

I have not taken any CATs yet. I will get back to your questions once I have done my CATs.

Thanks. Have a good weekend :)

Hi kumarparitosh123,

If you need Rich's help, you could answer his questions and see how. Happy learning :)

Hi SISDIT,

From your post, it sounds like you've put in some significant study time already, so you really MUST take a FULL-LENGTH CAT (including the Essay and IR sections) sometime soon. That initial diagnostic CAT is important - it helps to define your strengths and weaknesses and gives you a basis for comparison as you continue to study. Most Test Takers are not happy with that first CAT result, but that's not a big deal - it's just a measure of your skills right now. We need that assessment to determine what you need to work on to score higher. Once you have that first result, you should post back here and we can discuss the results.
