When you pick a wrong answer on Reading Comp, why do you pick that answer?
Is it because you fall for a trap (for example, the wrong answer was the exact opposite of something the passage actually said?)
Or because you picked an answer that was stronger or weaker than what was actually said in the passage?
Or because you misread a detail?
It's almost certainly some combination of these, plus other reasons too. Look into it! Go back through some of your old practice RC questions and see if you can figure out exactly why you made the choice you made. Plus, when you
didn't pick the right answer, why not? What made you eliminate the right answer? Take notes on this as well, so you can review them and look for patterns! Knowing where your mistakes are coming from, as specifically as possible, is the right place to start.
Also, keep in mind that when you do an RC question, the right answer is the
only one that is proven correct in the passage. Other answers might be related to the passage, but there'll only be one that you can prove using only things that are written in the passage. If you can't put your finger on the 'proof' for an answer, you can't be 100% sure that it's right (of course, guessing is okay when you can't seem to find the proof, but don't think you've got the right answer when you haven't found the proof yet!)
