Dillesh4096, thanks for your response
1. What’s your target score?
Target score is at least 750 --cause my trying to go for R2 applications 2. Range of scores in your mocks and which mocks you have been giving -
I started my full-fledged prep around 20 days back and I took a diagnostic around 2 weeks back and score a 620 (Q47, V28). I would've done better but my timing was just pathetic, I couldn't complete 8-10 questions in each section. I intend to use a mix of MGMAT and Official Mocks. I will be giving another mock in a week's time and then gradually increase the frequency of mocks 3. Materials used for the pre -
I am using a private tutor's notes and question bank (made out of OGs and real GMAT questions) - which are reliable. Apart from that, I will be solving stuff out of the OG and Review Set as well. Basis my bad score in Verbal, I am focussing more on Verbal, however, my quant is as badExam day - 11th Dec, Application dates -6/7th Jan..I need to ace it in my first attempt...else wait till next year
From 620 to 750 means we’re looking a jump from (Q47,V28) to (Q50/51,V41/42)
By leaving 8-10 questions if you’re able to get a Q47,V28. I can see your concepts are mostly sorted in Quants and verbal. You’ll need to work on the timings, I will advise you to start doing timed practise at least 3-4 times a week. Select 31 questions (16PS & 15DS) and time it for 62 min. and 12 each of SC/CR/RC questions in 65 min
You can also look at GMATCLUB quant tests for practise, they are great source along with
MGMAT and official mocks.
With this, you should be able to touch a Q50/51.
For a V41/42, you’ll have to know the exceptions of the rules of SC along with the timings of the section in place
Work on the strategy also (getting initial 10 and final 5 questions correct)
All the best
