Business schools look for bona fide candidates while assessing applications, the ones who will truly fit into their program. They want to know who you are , what you can offer and why you belong into their program.
Therefore, it is a very bad idea to use the “template approach” while writing your essays.
Referring to free easily available sample essays while creating your own will compromise on your application’s originality since hundreds of other candidates have used the same resource.

The best way to approach essays is to answer the three key questions that every B-School wants to know:
A.Who you are
Have you reached your maximum academic and personal potential?
What choices have you made for yourself? Why?
B.What you can offer
What is the quality of your activities? Do you appear to have a genuine commitment or lead What about your maturity, character, leadership, self-confidence, warmth of personality, sense of humor, energy, concern for others, and grace under pressure?
Will you contribute something to Harvard and to your classmates? Will you benefit from your Harvard experience?
C.Why you belong into their program
Would other students want to room with you, share a meal, be in a seminar together, be teammates, or collaborate in a closely knit extracurricular group?
What is it about this program that drives you?
Answer these questions as honestly as possible; your writing should reflect your natural personality & leadership style.
You can upgrade your essays by taking feedback from your friends, family, professors and mentors.
