Hm... There are a few discussions that I think lurk on GMAT Club. Can
souvik101990 can think of any?
First of all, some of these things that I am about to recommend may be challenging in the current Viral environment as we all sit at home guarding piles of our toilet paper... but some are still possible. You can do deep (in your field) or you can go wide (explore completely unrelated areas e.g. finance consultant who is a boxing champ, and plays the violin). However, it has to be personal and has to be with passion.
First of all, you want to out-perform your peers at work and not just do better than the slowest runner but compete with yourself. Push yourself to be more and better. Hopefully your job can be challenging enough but if not, volunteer to do other projects for other teams and departments. Take sincere interest, however, if you can. It is not worth volunteering and then hating the task - the result will be terrible.
If you don't like your job or have really no projects you can be interested in, do what you are interested in - e.g. start a finance club or video games league or have your passion expressed in a different way. Try to find something you are passionate about and pursue it. This will create a more diverse profile and demonstrate your commitment, and make you a more interesting and appealing applicant.
You an also take courses/classes/certification if you are into that kind of thing. That also shows commitment and focus. Ideally you would do something that benefits you personally, professionally, and also helps your bschool application. I would not do something just for the sake of a bschool app - you need to believe in what you are pursuinga and not do it as a chore. That results into success and makes your application more diverse and you more successful and appealing.
Thanks,
BB.

Congrats on your great score!
Unfortunately Top 10 don’t offer scholarships to high GMAT scorers. Top 20 usually do not award scholarships for high GMAT scores. Schools outside of that group absolutely do but the top schools offer scholarship $$$ to unique and appealing candidates who add value to program. Your best shot at a scholarship at a top 20 Program is strengthening your profile and becoming a better/strong applicant and demonstrating leadership and career momentum.

Thank you for your reply! Could you please give me a few examples of what would strengthen my profile? As I already work, I cannot really achieve any academic performance anymore. Therefore, I am interested in what profile-boosts are available for a young professional.
