Hi grahamtandrew,
You're thinking about this process in an 'odd' way. With a score goal of 730+, you're going to have to perform at a fairly high level in BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections, BUT you won't ever know how well you're actually doing as you're working your way through the Exam (re: you won't know your Quant Scaled Score at the end of that section, so you won't know the "minimum" level you'd have to perform at in the Verbal section to hit your overall goal). As such, you might want to shift your focus over to defining WHY you get questions wrong, so that you can hone your skills and 'fix' whatever needs fixing. With your score goal, you're ultimately responsible to correctly answer all of the 'gettable' questions.
I'd like to know a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you used?
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
Goals:
4) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
