Seems pretty quiet compared to R1... Our Indian colleagues should have been called by now (time zone diff). Any calls thus far?

Same here! On an unrelated note, I am amazed by how much work I have managed to get done in the last 2 hours. I guess it is the adrenaline from the anticipation!

Actually, the first mention of "just" having gotten a call from an Indian colleague was at 8:53 AM EST. So they may not have started yet. (That is assuming they follow the same pattern that they did last round).

Haha, no one was on here or in the chat for the first few hours that I was awake. So I actually crossed 5 things off of my to do list! Now, I am not getting nearly as much done because I have started to fret. :)

Well, unlike other schools MIT says they will send decisions after 5PM, EST. Occasionally they may want to call someone earlier, but overall - we have to wait, guys...

Somehow I missed that. I figured they were like other schools and called admitted applicants to congratulate them.

Would you mind sharing where you got that info? The admissions blog for round 1 said they would be notified by 5PM EST and most were notified much earlier. The Admissions blog from March 28th addresses round 2, but all it says is April 1st.

We'll know soon enough :)

The "mba gatekeeper" article from December featuring the adcom director from Sloan says they do make calls to congratulate people...but who knows!
