Rather than guessing at this, why not research job descriptions that you're going to be going for post PhD? And also talk to the people that you hope to hire you when you finish your PhD. I just think that would be the most accurate way to assess this than guessing. It seems to me that if you need to know how the research fits into the business process, then the NBA would be helpful. However if the application and what you're researching is done by other people then maybe not. I was a market research manager on the client side in the marketing department, where I was really more like an internal consultant for all the different departments. It was really cool and I think my MBA was extremely helpful. However when I worked on the client side comma I don't really think it was. Hope this is helpful.
