Hi ankitaguha256,

Many Test Takers who use a 'book heavy' study approach end up getting 'stuck' at a particular score level. Given the length of time that you've studied, it's likely that this has happened to you as well. Raising this score to a 650+ will still require a significant amount of additional time and effort; you'll also likely need to invest in some new, non-book resources and learn/practice some new Tactics. A November Test Date may or may not be realistic though.

1) What is the average GMAT score at the two Schools that you've listed?

Hi Rich,

Thanks for analyzing my mistakes. I was wondering a lot about it. Could be a possibility books didn't work out for me. Can you please share the name of the new non-book resources which you are referring to!! I also understood that there are Tactics or certain paths which I should have followed, but if you can throw some light on those paths would be of much help. Again I am 100% ready and dedicated for any amount of time & effort that it may need.

1) The average GMAT score is in and around 650 for the two schools schools.

Hi ankitaguha256,

It's important to remember that the score that you *want* isn't necessarily the score that you *need* to get into Business School. While you can stick with your current score goal, there's a reasonable chance that you could score lower and still get into your first-choice Business School.

When it comes to studying for the GMAT, there are a variety of different options. Most GMAT Companies offer some type of free materials (practice problems, Trial Accounts, videos, etc.) that you can use to 'test out' a product before you buy it. We have a variety of those resources at our website (www.empowergmat.com). Given your situation, you would likely find it beneficial to invest in a GMAT Course of some type (either Guided Self-Study or instructor-led). I suggest that you take advantage of all of the various free materials, then choose the one that best matches your personality, timeline and budget.

If you have any additional question, then just let me know.

Rich

Hi,

In order to hit 700, the best combination is to achieve Q49 and V35. In fact, GMAT is math is a logic test, not a general math test. Therefore, you need to use logic to tackle GMAT math question to hit a high score in quant. There is a limit where you can get a high score in GMAT with general math skills. If your math skills are very good and you have been studying GMAT for a while you can hit 48-49, but above 49 is very difficult with the conventional method. Hence, you need logic to hit a high score, which you can learn with us.

From our course, you will learn our unique approaches and solving questions using the approaches: Variable approach of DS and IVY approach of PS. With our unique approaches, you can solve any questions that normally take 4 minutes in 1 minute and 30 seconds, and 2-minute question in 30 seconds. Moreover, you can solve 100% of DS questions with Variable approach and 30-40% of PS questions with IVY approach, which can boost your score.
Please try Trial Pack (4 hour lesson) that reveal our secret approaches of DS+PS core theory that you have never seen. You can test whether you like them or not before you enroll.

Additionally, below are two useful articles featured in GMAT Club for your reference. This will be helpful for you. You can see what sort of questions you might encounter on actual GMAT.
