Hi. I've been an active reader of this forum for several weeks as I continue to prepare for for the GMAT. My test is scheduled for Oct. 13th, so I have just under 2 months left. I've gone through Petersons (garbage, wish I would have read the posts first), Kaplan and PR evenly. I've taken 2 Kaplan pratice tests, and have done many of the questions in all 3 of the aforementioned books. From the information I've gathered here, many people suggested holding off on OG and PP as the last material to study. I was curious what it took people to 'thoroughly' review the material in OG and PP. I know it may differ on a person to person basis, but I'd like to know what to expect based on other's experience with the material.

to really get the most out of the OG, you need at LEAST a month. I dont have it in front of me, but i think there are about 1500 problems total in it. In order to finish that and really get the most out of it, give yourself four weeks or more. As for PP, it is largely a subset of the OG..that is if you do the whole OG cover to cover, you should do very well in PP because it repeats a lot of the questions - but the format is good to practice.
