# Time taken to answer a question

Does the time taken to answer a question impact our final score? Does the algorithm factor that while calculating the score?

No, it does not.

All you need to focus on is you should complete all the questions on time.

Algorithm works on difficulty level of the questions rather than timings.

It does not.
However, it very clearly does influence your score in the sense that, if we don't answer quickly we won't have time to answer all the questions. The main problem in the GMAT is time, and thus we have to aim for an average of about two minutes per question.
