ok, got email from emory about a "missing piece" to my application which is the non-required interview but I do want to do it but dont think i have the days off to pull it off on campus. The off-campus tour is almost done and nothing is close to me... Is it good to do the phone/web interview???

In general, having an interview will serve you better than not having one. One thing I've learned while at Goizueta is that if you want something badly enough, you'll do whatever you need to do to put yourself in a situation to get it (be it taking a flight somewhere, or just rearranging your schedule to accommodate a phone call). A phone interview won't hurt you, but if you make the effort to see them in person and have a good interview, it almost certainly will help (especially if they know how much effort you're putting into it). If you're in the country, I think it's a good idea to have the interview in person.

I am a first time poster to GMAT Club. I checked my "OPUS" page this morning and received my acceptance confirmation. I couldn't be more excited. I was accepted into the One-Year and Two-Year Programs so I am mulling which one to potentially enter. Perhaps Goizueta sent out a batch of acceptances today so hopefully more people received some good news! Best of luck, everybody.

ok. thanks. Called Pam and here is some info: 1. Process is rolling - so once your OPUS goes complete (or you receive app complete email) your app will be on the review queue and you will know the status within 4 weeks. 2. Interview is optional. Campus interview welcome BUT phone interviews are INVITE ONLY so you cant self initiate that. If they feel you need interview they will tell you during the application review process - so basically if you are not coming to campus you are "all set" 3. you may see "interview" on the admission to do list - she said everybody has it and it doesnt reflect upon your application's completeness...
