The following post concerns the applicants like me, who haven't received an interview invite.
I wrote to the admission committee to confirm the exact status. They replied that till date they have only reviewed 50% of the applications. They also informed that they will keep sending the invites till the end of November for first round applicants.
Hence all is not lost as yet..
