I am too from IT background so I think competition is fierce but probably SOP is only thing where we can show uniqueness so that may be reason

Did you get interview or dinged without it ?

I am applying in R2 and hoping for best

Software Engineer at Fidelity Investments with 3.5 years WE.
GMAT 710.

Re-applicant from last year. Back then my GMAT score was 620.

I probably screwed up my SOP and resume.

Got my interview call yesterday (11th Nov. 2013) at around 7 AM. Just when I was losing hope of receiving a call due to the inactivity since nearly 40 days of submission of my application, I have been given an opportunity :) I am sure that more interview calls are yet to come guys.So, don't lose hope :)

I did an interview with one of the adcom staff for about 45 min.
She was really nice and I felt totally comfortable talking to her.
Questions she asked were pretty typical ('Why MBA', 'Why Olin', 'Walk me thru your resume', etc.)
She also asked about my leadership experience, feedback from peers/supervisors, setbacks, and hobbies.

If it helps, I am Indian applicant and submitted the application for round 1 on 1st October. Since there was no activity for past many days, today morning I received an interview invite for face to face interview in Delhi.
Can some one give some tips.
