I'm in! Received an email from Smith stating that they had forwarded my file to the grad school for final processing, and that I should be receiving my official admit email soon :) Happy to be admitted, pleasantly surprised to receive the decision sooner than expected. Although I wouldn't have minded waiting till Friday either ;) Congrats to everyone who got in! Looking forward to meeting folks who are considering joining Smith!

mrwise being a PT MBA applicant received the decision a few days earlier than the 20th Dec decision deadline! So I guess for FT applications the wait is still on :)

You're right abhishek, my mistake! For some reason I thought even the FT program had a decision date of Dec 20, looks like only PT has that deadline :) But I'm surprised that Smith is releasing FT decisions so late compared to other schools....

Hi folks,

Regarding the interview, is there much of a difference between meeting adcom in person and meeting them through Skype?
No interview locations nearby... Skype would therefore be my preferred option. But, I'm paranoid.

Anyone from Chennai, India btw?

Have not. Seems like they are really waiting until the last date. Of the three I applied to I heard from one a month early, and the other the day before the deadline. Feels like even though we are getting closer that it is taking forever.

Hey, the adcom definitely prefers an in-person interview to a skype interview. However, if you are located in India, Skype interview should be just fine.

That is correct! On the same page, right at the bottom you see "Decision Status:" . By the way, the page still shows please schedule an interview!
