Embarrassing question BirthDate format on mba.com user profi

Question

I just wish to confirm that DoB format is indeed MM/DD/YYYY format I have my gmat after 3 days and was just checking my profile - and for some reason got confused.. what if it is DDMM format :roll:

That is Date and Month, for example today is 26/10(As per DDMM) and 10/26/2013 (As per MM/DD/YYYY format).

I am ASKING by default is it DDMM or MMDD as it shows on the profile page - I am hoping its MMDD - In profile it DOESNT show which format it is in.. hence, the confusion

(I registered long back and just hoping i didnt reverse digits when I entered that)

Why don't you try registering a new account and put 12/31 or 31/12.

Back when I had registered on mba.com, it was MM/DD. Might have changed now. As  bb  said, check on mba.com, or call the customer service number. There should be NO mistake in either your name or date of birth (they won't let you take the test if there is).

Just created a new account to check the date format. While answering the DOB, the system asks us to select the Month from a Drop down select option, so we cannot go wrong with the format, nothing to worry there.

Yes, and you really have to work super hard to screw that one up.

I don't even know how you could do it (it would have been a major mess of course if they did not have a month/date and I can see someone in the dark of the night picking 10/01/XXXX as their DOB and not realizing they picked Oct 1 vs. Jan 10.
