Creating a place for Haas EWMBA applicants to hang out and network with other applicants. We can use this platform to know each-other, build network, exchange ideas/information, discuss application strategies, share interview /school visit experiences, and boost one-another's morale to face the tough admission process.

Yeah, the only hope left is the waitlist. Anyone else noticing that this year's class is shaping up to be much more competitive? I only saw 2 admits with below a 700 GMAT today.

I'm in!!!!! Got the call at 11:40am from the Adcom member who interviewed me.
P.S. the exact messaging was that I "have been recommended for admission" and that the university board will have to formally approve my acceptance. So tomorrow I'm supposed to get a basic email saying I've been recommended, and then I'll get a formal email a few days later confirming acceptance. I was also told to not be concerned about this at all....did anyone else have the same experience?

Eek. 750 gmat and 3.98 gpa with 13 years experience and I'm down to hoping for the waitlist now. :/
norrab11, I understand - I have a 730, 3.98 (we both obviously got one B), and 8 years of experience, and I too can only hope to be waitlisted. To be fair, it is the best program of its kind, and there are many non-performance related factors that schools use to select their students. I’m sure that you will be successful, and maybe even be accepted from the waitlist!

I agree, it looks to be more competitive this year.
Accepted, got the call yday ~11:52am. 740 GMAT, 7 - 8 years exp, 3.17GPA. Former management consultant (non-Top 3), then strategy a movie studio, and now corporate finance @ large tech company
I was WL in R1. I submitted an updated resume with new publications (i work in academic life science research) and financial/mentoring responsibilities i had taken over at work. Submitted a third recommendation and had my supervisor submit an updated recommendation (she was one of my original recommenders). I also submitted certificates of completion from my volunteering activities plus a leadership development program i completed at work. I enrolled for the online math for management class and sent them that enrollment as my GMAT score was low and I wanted to address that. I sent them only the enrollment confirmation as I had not completed the course before the material submission deadline.
Not sure how much of this mattered but I hope this helps and good luck
