Well got denied, checked the portal, got an email update after the fact. I applied September 28th. Best of luck to all still left standing, this one stings. Will still do my best to provide info for this forum
Agree that it is always better to apply earlier rather than later for CBS. So, since you are in the most overrepresented demographic bucket, it might be tough. Honestly, though, it depends on the quality of your materials and what you're bringing to the table, so it's hard to make generalizations like this. I think you should still submit if you feel like your materials are strong.

Hi
Is it too late to apply to CBS from India now. I was thinking of submitting my app tomorrow (10th December). Is it extremely late for an Indian applicant?
Thanks
I was in a similar position last year and decided to wait for this cycle, mainly because I felt my application wasn't strong enough. If quality (and the app fee) are not an issue, there is no downside in applying now, although the odds are a bit against you due to CBS' rolling admissions process. Re-applicants are looked upon favourably by the school, so your chances in the next cycle should not be negatively affected.
so now that invites are rolling out, should we expect them to come out once a week? or is this truly rolling and they'll trickle from now on. any context would be greatly appreciated.
Has any one received confirmation of completion of Re Vera background check? Coming up on 6 weeks today, wondering if anyone had any insights into the timeframe for completion.
These have been known to drag on for months and I have never had anyone experience an issue. If you don't hear from them, consider no news good news! But I wouldn't expect anything soon.

Hi all,
Has any one received confirmation of completion of Re Vera background check? Coming up on 6 weeks today, wondering if anyone had any insights into the timeframe for completion.
Has anyone interviewed already and received an admissions decision? I am curious - though I imagine that with the holidays coming up, we won't hear until the new year.
Hey all! I submitted my application in mid-December, so now I get to wait (and maybe pull my hair out just a little).
Given that we're in the heart of winter break right now, does anybody know whether AdComs work during the winter break? When I was invited to interview at another school, interview slots weren't available until mid-January. Has anybody been hearing decisions since the semester ended?

Good luck to everyone!

Interviews are alumni-led, so holiday timing should not matter for scheduling (you schedule directly with the alumnus you are assigned once you receive your decision), only for receiving invitations. Good luck!
