I got waitlisted too..for internationals I think it doesn't make sense to remain on the waitlist..it will take too long to clear

How long would you expect to hear back from Simon? I interviewed 2 weeks ago, not sure how the coronavirus fiasco will affect decisions dates and such

Admitted with a scholarship!

Submitted application on May 1st and interviewed a few days later. I received the decision that Friday via a phone call from Julie Sadwick.

As long as you ask the adcom to expedite the process for you, they will accommodate.

They made the process so much easier for me.

I had applied in R1 and was put on the waitlist after the interview.
On the portal, they have mentioned that the review will take place from April to July 2020.
I have also updated my profile on their waitlist portal twice.

Anyone else in a similar situation? Do you think the current pandemic situation is going to affect the timelines?

Impala59 I'm sorry you were waitlisted. Honestly, your GRE score is great and in the top 20 percentile of the class at Simon. Have you been in contact with someone at the admissions office through this time? In addition to providing updates through the portal, it's a good idea to reiterate your interest through soft updates/check-ins with the admissions team once every month or so. This is basically to signal to the admissions committee that if they offer you a spot, you are likely to attend. I hope things turn around for you!
