I got a call yesterday and an email today (I was waiting for the confirmation email and just realized that the email was in spam..)

For those who have deferred or are considering deferring, may I ask about the reasons? Is it to do with concerns that covid may still be in effect by Jan 2021 and/or the expected lack of job prospects around Dec 2021?

R3 applicants: How are we feeling about interview invites next week? I wish the school had been more transparent in their communication about how they are currently accommodating deferral requests, and if they will be adjusting the class size to ensure equal opportunity for applicants across all four rounds. From the information I have consumed through podcasts and such (pre-pandemic), they always stress how the team is able to forecast the number of applications in each round, which allows them to keep competition roughly equal through the application cycle. I really hope they have been able to do that during these circumstances as well. Good luck to everyone!

I got admitted last night, and changed my intake timing to this September. So there is still a spot for you guys! It seemed like there are many spots for September intake because of the deferrals. So I guess you can propose the AO to be taken for September intake to get the higher chance of admittance.

There should be an email. Check your spam folder too just in case.

Nope nothing in there. I've just sent my AO an email on this, but in the meantime also created an email on the INSEAD portal.

I emailed the AO that I’m willing to change to September intake before I get admitted. Then when the AO called me to inform admittance, she asked me if I’m still interested to start from September. Since they have already started their P0, I was told to quickly complete the process and join. Hope more join from September !?

Likewise - I would have loved for more transparent communication. Both in terms of deferrals, and from what I’m reading, candidates pulling up their admission from the Jan-21 to Sept-20 intake. The 50+% hike in INSEAD’s applications this year is going to greatly reduce probability for admittance across the board

That said, with all the unpredictability, I foresee a ton of WLing..

called yesterday, haven't received email yet. But when I log in my iApply portal it prompts me to select insead email address.

just got my email confirmation. My AO is EM but I got an email from JM on her behalf. Can't believe my gmail automatically labelled it as spam, if I didn't check the spam I wouldn't have seen it.

thank you buddy for reminding us of the spam situation. Found my admission email in the spam box, too. Never would have checked if it were not for your reminder. I would have waited all night lol
