Has anybody received an interview invite before they submitted their letter of recommendations or video interview?

Yes, I received an interview invite before one of my recommender’s had submitted his recommendation. However, I had already submitted my video essays.

I got my interview invite 2 days after submitting my application. I submitted my video essay in the morning and got an invite the same night.

Submit my application last Thursday and did my Kira Video essay and TWR on Monday Oct 5.

Any insight on how long it takes for the adcom to review and send out interview invites?

It ranges by applicant.
The adcom member told me they meet once a week, so it really depends on when your application is received against the day they meet to decide.
If your application is submitted on Monday, and they meet on Tuesday - lucky you.
If you submit on Wednesday, it’ll have to wait till the next meeting.
Some people get their invites in 2 days

Thanks! I'll sit tight and wait a couple weeks and hopefully get an interview invite soon!

Not sure if someone already asked this, but what is the best way to prepare for the admissions interview?

Check out the interview debriefs tab. The questions mentioned there are more or less the same questions being asked. I took those questions and made bullet points mentioning the things I definitely wanna talk about. Record yourself one or twice, answering those questions; that should do it.

Hello everyone, just finished with my video essay component. How long does Rotman usually take to get back with the interview dates, if considered? Also, do they let you know if you have not been considered?

Thank you. I think the thing I am struggling the most with is finding questions to ask the adcom. I have already spoken to Rotman a few times and have asked about 20 questions. I feel I understand the program very well. Do you have any suggestions on the kind of questions I can ask them? I do not want to ask them about things I have no interest in.

Here are some of the latest interview debriefs https://gmatclub.com/forum/rotman-toront ... brief.html

Also, don't ask questions you are not interested in :) If you have no other questions, you can try asking some of the questions that you have already asked the students but this time you will hear from the admissions perspective. It will be helpful to know both the perspectives of students and the admissions committee.

Hi everyone,
I have submitted my application on 5th Oct. Has anyone received interview invites? I am all tensed as my Kira interview was a disaster. And does anyone know until when they roll out the interview?

I'd expect a delay of about a week to the normal process due to the statutory holiday today (Canadian Thanksgiving). It sounds as if Adcom meets every Tuesday and this week's meeting with be skipped.

Thanks for the update! I believe the volume of applications too is quite high. I'm not expecting any response before mid next week
