Is Johnson still rolling out invites? I just received a mail saying that they have received my submission and are in the process of reviewing it. I had submitted on 4th Jan. Confused as to why did I receive the application submission mail today.

Anyone get an invite to LEAD event for R2 yet?

Hey I actually got the email on Friday afternoon 2/5 inviting me to go to the Lead event and interview as well as apply for the Park Fellowship. I honestly have no idea what being asked to attend the LEAD event means in terms of chances of acceptance. Is it something they give to like 20 kids? 100 kids? 500? Any insight would be really appreciated. For reference, I am looking to transition into the Hospitality industry through my MBA so not sure if this really appeals to Cornell.

I also got a LEAD invite, it's not to every person. It's for people they are interested in giving the full-merit Park Fellow Scholarship too. So I personally would think chance of acceptance is high.

Also, I don't know why you would say that... Cornell has the best hotel management program in the country?

Cornell introduced GMAT waiver in R3 of the cycle.

Need expert advice - Do you think it makes sense to apply to Cornell R3 with a GMAT waiver? I have 5 years of IB experience and plan to join BB banks in the US post the 2-year MBA from Cornell. I am currently based in North America.

I asked an admissions consultant this before, and they replied usually a GMAT waiver makes sense if the rest of your application is incredibly strong. Are you confident in telling your story, and did you have a good undergrad GPA? Will your references also support that story? Especially for doing IB, Johnson is really strong (on part if not slightly ahead) by % than other M7's. So that's another data point to consider.

Also, by not taking the GMAT, you're excluding yourself from some other merit based scholarships too.

Anyone get an invite to LEAD event for R2 yet?

So there were a discrepancy with my application over which it was said to be incomplete for weeks, though everything had been rightfully reported. I have been trying to reach the AdComs for weeks now and did not hear anything. I finally reached them yesterday and they updated my profile and within 24 hours I was invited to interview. I am worried that because of the "Incomplete" status that no one fixed thought I tried to no avail to reach the office, I was not given the opportunity to be considered for Park Fellowship though I applied for it. It would be incredibly disappointing if that was the case.

I am unsure of how many people they invite but I don't assume its terribly many. Congrats on getting an invite! For hospitality, Cornell has one of the top, if not the best, program for hotel management, so definitely a good choice and good career to transition into post MBA

Thanks! I guess it means April round applicants won’t be able to participate then? I actually remember they host more than one LEAD sessions so hopefully it’s the same this year.

I just received my interview invite but nothing about LEAD. If they're interested, do they come later? I understand it's only for people who they are interested in the Park Fellowship and not for everyone. Just curious if all invites have been sent out.

Hi guys could somebody please confirm if in Cornell's interview confirmation whether they will list the applicant's skype username?

I am worried that even though I entered my skype username when I signed up for the interview date, that they might not have gotten my username through it because I didn't see it in the confirmation email they sent confirming the date

That's nothing to worry about. I just scheduled my interview and it didn't show my skype id in the confirmation email either. However, you can find that information under details when you click on the Add to Google Cal link.

I just logged in to my application and it seems there is no application. It just asks me to create a new application. 2 weeks back I could see it as Under Review.

Is anyone else facing a similar situation?
