Did anyone get an email saying they will release Mcdonough decisions end of day by email on 18th? I thought they would call you?

Yes I got that email! I think they wrote that to account for everyone they will be waitlisting/rejecting and internationals who might not get a phone call. We should still have our phones ready in case they call with good news

Nooo! Sorry for scaring you lol. That was a mass email to everyone on their email list, so they had to account for all sorts of people who MIGHT not get a phone call by using very general language.

From the decision tracker, I see for Round 1, they have tried to call most of the admitted applicants. So, I think they will try to call all the admits, and in case they are not reachable, they will send an email or a portal update. Please check the following screenshot.
