Do you know about the EA scores for the full-time MBA program at McDonough?

Not sure about EA cutoffs but 155+ should be good enough

Got it. 155 would be above 80 percentile.

drithi999 Did you take the EA test?

Hi all this is my first post! I'm wondering if any other applicants that were waitlisted in Round 1 have been invited to interview. I was pleasantly surprised that I even received a waitlist offer since I did not interview back in round one. Since then, I have submitted new (and much improved) test scores and have had a bit of pleasant back and forth with admissions via email.

Just curious if it is looking like I'm going to get dinged to the waitlist again, or if maybe they send out interview invites to round 2 applicants first, and then contact those of us on the waitlist.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

I see you were waitlisted without an interview in the first round. So, I think they will consider your application along with other Round 2 applicants. I guess you should expect to hear an update from McDonough along with other Round 2 interview invites.

I see you have other admits. Were they from Round 1?

Yes, both admits were from Round 1 (with scholarship) and both waitlists were from Round 1 as well. I applied Round 1 with GMAT scores and then just took the Executive Assessment a few weeks ago and sent those scores to my two wait lists. Grateful to be admitted and have a spot saved at one school, just excited to hear from the waitlists as they are both fantastic programs. Hoping my EA scores will push me over the finish line. These forums have been super helpful!

Sounds good. I hope you will hear back soon from your schools :) I would also recommend looking at the previous years' forums to see how others navigated through the waitlist process. There are also some videos we have done on our YouTube channel. All the best :)

Who else here has interviewed and can’t wait until decisions come out on March 18th?! I am going to be counting down the days...

Generally, what’s the post-interview admit rate for McDonough?

From the decision tracker I see 27 got an admission out of the 54 interviewed. So I guess the conversion rate would be approximately 50%

Hi Nikhil, the conversion rate is much higher. The 27 you see are admits from only Round 1 whereas the 54 are the total interviewed from Rounds 1 and 2 together. I am not sure on the numbers but I would say over 80% convert from interviews as there are hardly any rejects I have seen.

Got it. Yes. Thanks for the correction fall2021 The actual numbers for Round 1 are 27 got admitted out of 35 interviewed. So, the 80% conversion sounds about right :)
