Executive Assessment Percentiles

There were no official EA percentiles until now.... we have been able to reconstruct these from the GMAC's presentation that provided the exact distribution of the percentiles. Specifically, GMAC data gave these 3 data points and then additional graphical details that were easy to fill in and after a bit of work we had the whole picture.

Officially published Executive Assessment Percentiles:
  • 25th Percentile: 146
  • 50th Percentile: 150
  • 75th Percentile: 153

Where can we get the official percentiles? I see another user reported 155 at 89th percentile which is quite different from the gmatclub percentile report.

As far as we know, GMAC doesn't provide you percentile scores and you won't really know what your actual percentiles are. However, they shared some percentile data on one of their presentations. So, we used that data to recreate the actual percentiles one could expect. I am not sure how the user you mentioned knows his percentile when it was never disclosed by GMAC. Thanks!

Test takers do not receive percentiles, but the schools do and they sometimes share that information with applicants.

Is the percentile available only for recent tests? I gave this test in the past but I do not see any percentile score in my score report, which I downloaded today.

Wow..!! That's an excellent score. Congratulations for this huge and awesome score.
Can you please help by shedding some light on your preparation methods and sources used...? Details of the approach would help especially for preparing IR.

I got the percentiles from the official score report sent to one of the schools I applied to. Test was taken Feb 2021.

Overall - 159 (90th percentile)
IR - 10 (56th percentile)
VR - 15 (98th percentile)
QR - 14 (94th percentile)

I also received one additional data point from the GMAC customer care representative. 150 is 64 percentile. So, I believe the overall spread has changed and I think above table probably needs to be updated.

I wasn't able to get the percentiles bit my score was:

Overall - 161
Int Re - 18
Verbal - 12
Quant - 11

Hi all

Thank you for this breakdown. Could you provide more insight into the scoring? For instance, does a score of 11 mean you got 7/14 correct on verbal or quant? Does the breakdown tell you how many questions you got correct in each section and not just the score?

I think 2-4 mistakes depending on difficulty level lands you on that kinda score
On quant I heard 2 mistakes gives you 11/18

While on my Duke application, I got to know my EA percentiles.

Exam taken - 7th September 2021

Total - 155 (85%)
IR - 11 (71%)
QR - 12 (80%)
Verbal - 12 (85%)

Hope this helps anyone trying to figure out percentiles!

Here is my verified score that I took in Oct 2021, and this score was verified last week.
Overall - 156 (94th percentile)
IR - 11 (71th percentile)

I don’t believe so. I think you only send them to schools on the report. As mentioned by Tony. They saw a copy of the report that was sent to the school. I still have no clue why they don’t share personiles with applicants. 🤷‍♂️
