Good luck to everyone! I am a waitlist interview candidate from R1. I didn't receive a call for the waitlist, so at the least you know if you don't receive a call it doesn't categorically = ding. From what I got at Kelley, applications are up this year again, and I imagine the same at Ross. Wishing all the best this week
FYI, Message from the Ross admissions: If you’re admitted, the Admissions Team will try to reach you by phone. We will call admits located in the United States on Wednesday, March 16, and all admits based internationally on Thursday, March 17. There will be no special order to the calls within the day other than being mindful of time zones.
BoundMan, for Indian applicants it was Digna Raj from the admissions committee who called during Round 1. Some calls started as early as 8 am IST. Most calls were received post 6 pm IST. I received mine at 11- 11:30 pm IST. Hope this helps!

What are the odds this wraps around to the next day for domestic applicants? I can't imagine the logistics of a single admissions department calling ~ 1k people in a single day. I'm in Ann Arbor (applying for a second masters) if this makes any difference in what I might expect.
I understand the reasoning behind the calls and think it's wonderful, but...this way of doing things is somewhat nerve-wracking.
I don’t think they are calling all applicants only those who were admitted.
Assuming there is certain percentage of domestic vs intl who are admitted I would guess the number of calls they need to make is a couple hundred.

They are calling all admitted applicants. From what I gathered in R1 the called all accepted applicants on the same day. Different time zones make it manageable for them.
