Does the Adcom contact recommenders before final decision date? My recommender has left the company and no longer has access to the email from where she submitted her recommendation. Should I email this information to them or there's no need?
Posted from my mobile deviceNo, I believe recommenders are only contacted after acceptance during the background check process. But your situation would definitely cause friction with the background checks should they happen, as the background check company much prefers having using an official company email address to reach recommenders. If a personal email address is used, there would be extra steps needed by your recommender to verify their identity - something that can be onerous to recommenders.
Either way you have 2 issues here - 1. not being able to reach your recommender on the provided email address, which will slow down your background checks and 2. if you provide a personal email address, that too will slow down the background checks for the reasons described above. Contact admissions and try get ahead of this quickly, if your recommender has moved to a new company, use their new company email address. If you have to use a personal address, communicate now that the background checks will likely require some extra verification (what that looks like, I don't know)
