Mine has been ‘under review’ since 4/2. Trying hard not to care but I keep checking the portal

My status showed "Under Review" few days after the deadline, and it still does today. However, I received an email yesterday saying my application submission is confirmed. (Anyone experienced the same thing?) I hope something will happen soon, and I will keep it posted. I know the wait game is completely torture, but please remain petient and optimistic since Cornell employs a rolling basis, they will extend invites until the initial notification date.

It is clear that some people have gotten interview invitations, but the Johnson website states that the 19 of March applicants will receive one of three initial notifications: an invitation to interview, waitlist without interview, or denial of admission (they call it “Initial Notification Date”). So some applicants must wait until that date to know if they will be invited to interview. This information was also given to me by someone on the admissions team in the Ask Admissions event of 02/02/2022, and I checked the livewire for round 1 and many updates were made in the Initial Notification Date for that round. We must not lose hope and wait until the decision is made.

I submitted my R2 app on 1/3, the status changed to "under review" on 1/19, and just when I was starting to lose hope, I got an interview invite on 2/7 and was invited to the LEAD event on 2/18. My portal still says "under review" though?

yes, they haven’t reviewed it yet

So that means, I can keep hopes.

Hey everyone, I just received Cornell’s email confirming my application submission (I submitted it one day before the R2 deadline). Now I’ve checked my status, and says incomplete, though is not incomplete! Did anyone go through the same situation? Tks
