Hi bb ;
It's just an observation and feedback that points for correct timers are not getting marked .

Is it so that the correct timer points are only awarded for the option which is selected first time ? what would happen if a user changes his/her option in the interim period before the OA answer is revealed , won't correct timer points be awarded then?

For eg : In my case now that it has only since result of 3 days is there , I have received 8 Kudos bonus for explanation, but only 6 correct timers? not sure what is causing this mismatch , because I clearly remember marking the correct option as mentioned in explanation...

Kindly advise.

Hi bb ;

Hi. You don't have to remember, you can look at it in your Error log and check.
But I am a bit suspicious of the comment about "first time" - what do you mean first time? You mean if you took 5 timers 5 times and eventually got it right, it would count it? If that's what you mean, that's not how it works.

It is probably a combination of things.
Try to spend some time with explanations and deconstruct the questions to see how each choice is evaluated. Some of the explanations are very detailed including other user's explanations.

one concern!

You answered it too soon.! :D
The background code has been written with min time to be 6 seconds and max to be I guess 4-5 min to be counted as a point.
Next time please take this constraint into consideration. (Code does what we tell it do, it is dumb that way at times) :D

ktzsikka - we looked into the details.
This was because your timer was 5 seconds long. We do not consider timers less than 6 seconds in the competition and for the question stats calculation. The timer needs to be between 5 and 360 seconds.

Hi. I have looked up your details and here is what I saw. It says you got 9 correct timers and 18 timer bonuses.
It seems to all add up. Did you do the math? or am I missing something?
