Ver23 - i am from the tech mba applicant set up. I sent an e-mail to NYU a few days back asking for an update on my application - They stated the below - so would be very much in line with all applicants

"Thank you for your email. Applicants who submit a complete application by January 15th are guaranteed to receive notification on or before the corresponding notification date. Applicants who did not submit a complete application by the deadline may receive a delayed notification. Unfortunately, the Admissions Committee is not able to provide you with a more exact timeframe in which you will hear a final decision as the admissions process is ongoing. We will make every effort to review your application in a timely manner.



We can confirm that your application is complete and under review by the Admissions Committee. This information is also reflected on your Application Status Page."

I applied for R3 deadline and submitted on Jan 15th but my recommender sent it across at 10:40am IST....Missed it by 11 minutes, would that mean I'm pushed to next deadline?

What I known is schools typically allow couple days delay after deadline for the LOR.

So you should be fine for R3
