Hello. Please someone evaluate this profile:
work exp- 2 years banking exp (PO at BOI and SBI)
Career break of 5-6 years (full time mom). In the meanwhile passed CFA level 1 and French language level 3
Then for last 2 years mentoring in a government exam coaching centre.

IS she eligible for ISB? Are there any other colleges she can target? mostly looking for 1 year programs. GMat not attempted yet. mostly in a month or two

1. at what point should one take this decision to switch to gre?
2. what is the let’s say "700" equivalent score in gre?

But the acceptance rate of GRE in indian b schools is low or even if they accept they will always convert it to GMAT equivalent.

Ofcourse they will convert it. thats the whole point. But I disagree with this idea that acceptance in Indian B schools. Both ISB and IIMA readily accept GRE scores. Point is that if you have hit a plateau with GMAT, you can try GRE and not give up.

"Firstly, congratulations to all those who have been selected!

I am seeking an evaluation of my profile for ISB Round 3. Following my post-graduation, I spent one year in the IT sector before transitioning to a significant 6.5-year tenure in the Indian Customs, a government department. My current objective is to shift my career towards Consulting.

Details of my academic journey:

Studied in a vernacular medium
10th Grade: 69.34%
12th Grade: 75.8%
B.Tech. (IT): 74.46%
GMAT: 680
Short-Term Goals:
My immediate goal is to join a prestigious consultancy specializing in trade and economics. I aim to leverage my experience to assist organizations in navigating intricate regulatory landscapes, optimizing supply chains, and formulating strategies aligned with prevailing trade agreements. Collaborating with a diverse team, I seek to enhance my problem-solving skills and gain exposure across various industries, contributing to clients’ success by aligning strategies with legal policies and international trade dynamics.

Long-Term Goals:
Looking ahead, I aspire to ascend the ranks in the consulting industry, establishing myself as a thought leader at the crossroads of governmental policies and business strategies. I envision leading and shaping consulting projects that demand a profound understanding of international trade, customs regulations, supply and demand dynamics, and legal frameworks.

Extra-Curricular Activities:

Engaged in office debate competitions, securing first and third prizes.
Participated in a self-created Hindi poetry recitation competition conducted by the Nagar Rajbhasha Karyanvayan Samite for all government departments in Mumbai, winning the third prize."

Should I apply in Round 2 or in Round 3 after improving GMAT score ?

Improve GMAT>720 if you can't apply to round 2. Round 3 is very difficult with this score

With two years exp, yes you are eligible.
But with such a long gap reflect conviction in essays of why MBA AND WHY isb? Also gmat/gre needs to be strong >720

Hi Experts,
I am considering to apply to ISB R2 but facing a dilemma regarding GMAT score, your inputs will be helpful.
I have a GMAT score of 700 (test date 16-Nov-2023). I want to take the GMAT once more (hoping to get a 700+)
The best available date is 5-Dec-23, Now questions are
1. Even if I apply within the 3rd Dec deadline, with a 700 score, will it get updated automatically in ISB database once I give the revised GMAT.
2. Is there any chance that my existing score in the ISB database gets cancelled, and in turn, the candidature itself not considered for shortlising.
Assumption for above queries - I score 700+ and I accept the score

The deadline for the various form submission on the Application portal is shown as 2023. Also the fee structure and payment info is for 2023. Is it the same for everyone? If so then how would I know the exact fees structure and other components?

Yeah facing the same issue

As far as I understand the date of the exam has to be before the round deadline you are aiming to apply. You can email ISB and confirm this they are very responsive.
