GMAT FE target
Hi everyone,

I am Monisha, wanted feedback on my profile

class 10 - 9.5
class 12 - 98.1%

IITM CSE grad - 7.4

Fintech startup - 3 yrs - SSE

Aiming for pivot to ProdMan roles
Your IIT pedigree and work-ex seem interesting.

Would need more details on the professional front to assess better e.g. which companies, roles, career progression (promotions?) etc.

Broadly though, aiming for a 675+ GMAT would be ideal.

Regards,
Arvind | W: https://admitstreet.com/

Hi dasariM,

ISB will evaluate you profile in a holistic manner and the details shared by you are minimal.

Broadly speaking, though, you should target a score that exceeds the average at ISB. So, 675+ is what you should look for.

All the best!

Hi exdentio,

You have strong academic pedigree, rich extra-curricular activities, and leadership potential.

Here is a point-wise response to your queries:

-Look at a 665+; the higher your score, the better your chances will be.
-You joined your current job very recently; it will be essential for you to explain why you took this job so close to your plans of joining business school.
-Firstly, focus on getting a high GMAT score; deliberate on your short-term goals and how they link up to your long-term goals.

Hope this helps.

All the best!

Profile evaluation request

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to get your feedback on my profile as I prepare to apply for the ISB PGP. I’d really appreciate it if you could share any suggestions—especially regarding an ideal GMAT score and the strengths/weakness that could strengthen my application.

• Class XII (ISC): 92%
• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, NIT Durgapur – 8.61 CGPA / 81.10%

• Led organization of annual college fests; managed a team of 50+ members
• Multiple accolades in debates and Model United Nations
• Spearheaded a year-long team-building program at ZS Associates, engaging 150+ colleagues through targeted initiatives

Post-MBA Goal
My long-term goal is to contribute to the innovation and growth of startups and small-scale businesses by working as a strategic partner and investor—similar to the role played by venture capitalists. I hope to combine strategic thinking, operational expertise, and capital to help early-stage businesses scale effectively.

Key Questions -
1) What should be target GMAT FE score?
2) What could be some factors that could hurt my profile?

Production officer at Nestle India. Worked for 1.2 years and had on site experience in a chocolate manufacturing plant. Learnt about process in depth and also production optimisation. Projects and collaboration in cross functional teams - Manufacturing Excellence, Finance, Supply management, warehousing.

Moved to Hindustan Unilever as a Quality Executive in Go to market operations. Promoted to Sr. Executive within a year and a half with additonal project responsibilities.

Very interesting work profile Aashi. Your experience spans across Operations and Marketing.

While you have not mentioned your career goals, make sure that they are not completely disjointed from your career experiences so far.

Target a 655+ on GMAT. Good luck!

Hi Dheeraj,
What should be the upper limit? When we say 655+, getting a 675-685 score would support my profile, right? Or shall I aim for 705+

3. Is MiM in european colleges, and MeM in US colleges a good decision (backup plan) as compared to indian MBAs (ISB and IIMs) ?
