Hi Fruit Loops comma I don't think this is a deal-breaker. Do you have any other experience at all? Even if you don't, you must be putting food on the table somehow? Are you living off of savings? It seems a little strange that you are not making any money at all.
I don't think that this is going to be a distinction that will send your application down the drain or anything.
What are you doing full-time for a job if you're volunteering for the business? If you're making a living working for the family business it's completely legit.
There's your profile looks strong too. I honestly think the bigger concern would be identifying your goals and priorities for an MBA.
If you have a strong reason to get an MBA, that you can prevent with conviction and sincere intentions I think that would be sufficient, if you have obtained leadership experience a team work experience in the family business.
Focus on what's within your control if you do decide to go for this. Make sure to just sell yourself the best you can in your applications. Doing a great job on the application is highly underestimated.
