Hi vinayakvaish,

Great job on the GMAT! I agree that in order to get an answer to your question from the most qualified person, you should reach out to one of the many admissions consultants here on GMAT Club. If you end up needing to retake the GMAT, please reach back out, and I’d be happy to provide some advice.

Good luck!

Hi,
I am an Instrumentation & Control Engineer with over 5 years of work experience in Petrochemical Process industries ( currently employed in ONGC Petro additions Ltd.). I am looking to apply for 1 year fulltime MBA programmes offered by ISB, IIM-A, IIM-B and IIM-C. I have been one of the co-founders of an e-commerce website, I have extensively worked with NGOs in roles such as Media coordinator and I've also done Theatre. My GMAT score is 700(Q48,V38,IR4)
Should I retake?

Hi vinayakvaish,

While the differentiated background in the petrochemical industry, entrepreneurial experience, and social-sector work will be plus points, a lot will also depend on the kind of achievements you have had at work and how you draft your essays. Remember, your career goals ought to be in sync with your existing experience and your need for an MBA well explained.

The GMAT is a bit under the average for the schools in question and a bit of boost there could really help.

Hope this helps.

All the best!
