Hi All,
Ive recently reattempted the gmat (after five yrs from the 1st attempt), scored a 720 (q50/v38). Not very impressive for an over represented pool
But really want to do a regular MBA (2yr) from North America and hopefully in T10
Pls advice on chances
Basic profile info
- IIT (top 3), top half cgpa (7.5). Good ecs & leadership in college
- 2 yrs of international work ex in top 500
- Senior Product Manager in unicorn startup (India), 3+ yrs PM exp
- Recos from T5 alums
- Post mba goal - Senior PM roles in North America
- Total 8+ yrs of work ex; will be 32 at time of joining next yr (this may be a deal breaker, as per consultants)

Everything looks good except GMAT score when compared with average of T10 schools.
You have fair chance so I believe you must go ahead and see what's in future for you.

Age is not a factor & can't negatively impact, you're young 
. You have enough GMAT score, but other aspects will drive you to get an admit. Unless you are unique( in talents/exceptional/own medium to large enterprise business) other things have to drive you up, like recommendations, essay, career goal alignment with business schools specialization, undergrad GPA, good vibes during interview etc. Good Luck!
