Schulich MBA vs Queens MBA vs Rotman MFin

Question

I graduated from Schulich BBA program and have four years of experience in FP&A. Now I'm considering to do part-time masters and would appreciate if someone can assist with the following questions I had:
1. Which degree has more value or is more suitable for FP&A positions - MBA or MFin? 
2. If MBA, then are the reputations of Schulich and Queen's fairly similar, or does one have a better reputation than the other?

Schulich's MBA program seems to have the most flexibility in terms of what courses students can take, while the curriculum and Queen's is pre-set already (most of them are focused on management and strategies). Rotman MFin seems to only accept people with at least two years of experience and their materials go deeper than CFA materials.

If you do part time, and trying to pay that amount of money for MBA, why not even apply for Rotman MBA?

If you are already in Toronto, I would definitely not choose Queen's.

Are you talking about the location for Queen's? Queen's is having boardrooms in different locations across the GTA this year, so location wouldn't really be an issue.

The reason why I didn't apply for Rotman MBA is because I already studied BBA, which means I would be repeating a lot of the courses that I already learned during undergrad. (Unless the reputation and quality of Rotman MBA is so good that it's worth re-learning and studying for 28 months... ).

I would be studying part time no matter if I choose MFin or MBA, as I'm not planning to switch careers; I'm just trying to enhance my knowledge and skills to prepare for managerial positions down the road.

I was also considering Rotman MBA, however I didn't apply due to the completion time (the program would start in September and wouldn't finish until December of 2023. I feel that was a really long time. I'm 26 right now and would be 29 by the time I finish, that seems really scary for me).

In your opinion though, if MFin generally isn't perceived to be as valuable as MBA, would you think it would be worth it to go for Rotman MFin due to its international reputation? Or would it be more worthwhile to apply for Rotman MBA despite how long it takes to complete?

MFins are generally perceived to be more technical, while MBAs are seen to be (depending on the concentration) more concerned with things like general management

I've read on other forums that MFins are considered to be junior degrees which can be helpful for people with less than two years of work experience....
I'm confident that it would help me on the technicals, just not sure if people don't perceive it to be as good and valuable as MBA...

In general, would it be better to go for an MBA instead of MFin if I'm not planning to change careers into Finance, even though UofT has a really nice reputation?

this is getting to be too much
if you'd like to do something more technical, go with the MFin
if you are interested in just staying in your current line of work and want something more managerial, get an MBA.
