Hi all, is there any group for Admitted candidates for the Jan 25 intake?

Hello group, i have submitted my application for hec paris jan intake on april 2023, when am I most likely to get a reply. I heard that HEC has rolling admission process and in the mail it was written 2 weeks. So when will i get a response back?

None of the April deadline applicants have received any updates so far. At least as far as I know.

Anyone from the April deadline got anything yet? Positive or negative?

­They have started rolling out the shortlist yesterday, but it would go on for some more days. Today/ tomorrow are holidays in France.

­I have been selected for the interviews. Can somebody share how the interviews will be?

I will be preparing for standard interview questions available on the Internet. I want to make a presentation on a general topic. 

Do I have to something else & please share how do they evaluate our responses. Are the interviews strict?

 
rajasekharM - Broadly, the alum interviewers assess you across these dimensions (in no particular order): 

• Presentation: Content, Structure, body language, knowledge, timing
• Interview: Communication skills, leadership potential, multicultural teamwork potential, recruitment potential, research done about school

If you are seeking ideas on how to impress the HEC Paris interviewers in the ongoing admissions cycle, you may refer to these write-ups where I share some of my top tips (and also a sample HEC presentation that worked). My number one tip for you will be to visualise how you want to drive your interview and then plan your content around it. No admissions interviewer wants to have a boring talk, so make a good impression by being spontaneous and exciting. You should learn to drop relevant fodder for the interviewers to set the next line of questioning. You will find a wealth of MBA interviewing wisdom in these links. I hope you can derive value from these and create your own interviewing strategy.

Anyone here who applied for the April deadline still waiting to hear back?

Hi Everyone, I completed my HEC application day before. After submitting I am seeing some discrepancy in what I submitted vs what I am seeing on application. I am getting really anxious. I sent email to adcom as well, she has not responded. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to resolve these issues. I am worried that my application will get disqualified because if these errors which are not from my side

If the Adcom has not responded, you can send a email to "admissionmba@hec.fr" and also put "support@hec.edu" and your Adcom in CC.
Usually, Admissionmba@hec.fr responds in a few days and they are forthcoming with the solution.
Share your issues in detail, highlighting one-two examples of most relevant and actual discrepancy.
