Looks like you're from CA, so might have to wait it out until 5 PM PT if you applied to SF.

Just heard back.
Been put on the Waitlist.

Reviewing the prior year forums, didn’t see an instance when someone on the WL made it through. Appreciate if someone can throw some light into this.

Good luck to everyone and wishing the best to all.

I knew when the interviewer tuned out while I was talking to her that this was not going to work out. I might be uninteresting but I didn't deserve that. Nobody who worked hard to get in that room deserves to be treated like that. After being treated so poorly, believe me, the rejection is quite mutual. Best of luck to all matriculating students! <3 [#permalink]

Sorry jeometricals. I think it is so often the case that people end up at schools that may not have been their first choice when they were applying, but by the end, they could never imagine having gone anywhere else because the school they did attend was such a great fit. The top schools inevitably miss on some great candidates. Look around and try to pick 50 candidates at each campus out of the hundreds of qualified applicants and they are certain to miss on some great people, so applying to multiple top schools makes it far less likely that they will all miss. I guess I am just saying that you will find your own right school or you will come back stronger next year. We all have jobs and a year flies by.

You will get into a school that you really like. I found that you can also consider change a job/company that can help your application.
