Applied last night. Wish me luck

Not here to knock you (I obviously don't know you), but is 590 your GMAT score as indicated in your profile? If so, I do not think you have a realistic chance at entrance into the Wharton EMBA program. If you have an incredible story to tell, I can potentially see a path for you, but barring that, I would retake the GMAT with a goal of substantial improvement. Try to get to 700 or higher. Good luck.

Yep, got nervous and failed with a 590, then took the EA and got a 155. Not sure if that means anything but those are what I applied with. I’ll retake gmat if a I don’t get into a school this year.

I am not as familiar with EA as I am with GMAT, but 155 at least puts you in range of what they might be looking for. I've heard (nothing officially) that 160 or above is a good target for EA. The more people take the EA, the better the data will be on this. Good luck.

Median EA for Booth was 153 last year according to their latest Brochure. When I had my interview at Wharton they told me 155 was exactly their average but they would like to see a q12, my scores were q11,v13,ir11. So, there you have it. I was practice testing on GMAT at 660 a few months ago before I started studying, so whatever happened during the test, I must have self destructed somewhere along the way. I see you got a 730, that’s absolutely amazing and congrats. It takes a tremendous amount of work to get that kind of score.

Good luck to all the second round applicants! You guys did it.
Has anyone who got WL from the 1st round heard anything more since then?
I’m assuming that now the 2nd round submissions are done, they have the complete student profile list

Thank you so much. It was more of a love of labor on the part of my family, who sacrificed a lot so that I could prepare. I wish you the best with your applications.

Thank you. If I don’t make it through this round, I’ll study my ass off and retake and apply next cycle.

I sent a thank you note to the Adcom for doing the interview on a Saturday but no response. Is that normal?

I sent a note after the interview to thank and ask feedback. They responded, encouraging me to submit my application but specifically mentioned that they don't provide feedback at this stage of the application.

Based on the student site, it looks like there are 55 and 49 accepted students at Phi and SF, respectively. The numbers started lower and slowly crept up over the past few of weeks. I do not know whether people accepted late or a few waitlists were let through. Also, I am not sure how MBA school waitlists work, but I had a friend from grad school who was accepted during the first week of class.

Yes, I had circumstances where I had to request early decision.

Hey, can you shed some light on how you requested early decision. I have to respond to a school before the R2 results come out and wanted to reach out for an early decision. Anything you can share? Appreciate the help
