==> Since it is the first 50 positive integers, you need to find the median of the consecutive multiples of 7, you get 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, and the median is 28.

The answer is C.

IMO, I think this question needs to be rephrased to say the maximum number is 50.

IMO, I think this question needs to be rephrased to say the maximum number is 50.

The first 50 positive integers are 1, 2, ..., 50. So, no need to add that.

In a consecutive set [of multiples] of integers, mean = median, and

mean = first term + last term divided by 2.

7 + 49 = 56
56/2 = 28

We can use the following formula:

median = (first multiple in set + last multiple in set)/2

Since 7 is the first multiple in the set and 49 is the last:

median = (7 + 49)/2 = 56/2 = 28
