2. One root is 4 times the other

/let the roots be \(a_{1}\) and \(a_{2}\)
product of roots= \(a_{1} *a_{2} = \frac{c}{a}\)
and sum of roots = \(a_{1} +a_{2}=-\frac{b}{a}\)
Stmt A :product of roots= \(a_{1} *a_{2}= 16.=c/a\) not sufficient
Stmt B : sum of roots = \(a_{1} +a_{2} =-b/a\)
\(a_{1} =4a_{2}\) not suffcient
Combining a and B
\(a_{1} *4a_{2}\) = 16
thus \(a1= \pm2\)
hence since their are two values.
Value of b can be 4 or -4
not unique
Thus not sufficient
/hence answer E
