Which of the following fractions has the greatest value?

A. \(\frac{7}{16 \times 25}\)

B. \(\frac{5}{32 \times 5^4}\)

C. \(\frac{30}{512 \times 5^3}\)

D. \(\frac{5}{4^6 \times 5}\)

E. \(\frac{4}{2^{11}\times 5^2}\)

To compare them, we need either the numerator or the denominator to be the same. All denominators are multiples of 2 and 5 so let's make them all equal to \((2^{12} * 5^3\))

A. \(\frac{7}{16 \times 25} = \frac{2^8*5*7}{2^{12} * 5^3}\)

B. \(\frac{5}{32 \times 5^4} = \frac{2^7}{2^{12} * 5^3}\)

C. \(\frac{30}{512 \times 5^3} = \frac{2^3*30}{2^{12} * 5^3}\)

D. \(\frac{5}{4^6 \times 5} = \frac{5^3}{2^{12} * 5^3}\)

E. \(\frac{4}{2^{11}\times 5^2} = \frac{10*4}{2^{12} * 5^3}\)

Option (A) has the greatest value.
