Hi All,
Can you please evaluate me and put my mind to rest. I am unable to think what I have to do.... Please help me...
Now, coming to my question, I am a current senior at NYU with my eyes set on Yale SOM, MIT, Booth and NYU Stern in that order. I've given my GMAT just now and got a score of 640. I was wondering what my chances are for the admission into the above mentioned schools.
While at NYU I have been extremely active on campus, was the Vice-President of the student council, I started a club which now has 800 members and is extremely active in non-profit work, worked for the UN, started a corporation which is about to go to VC's for our initial seed funding and have a GPA of 3.69 (yea my first semester was not that great). The only thing that is holding me back is my GMAT.
I am getting my recommendations from the Dean of my school and my academic advisor. I feel that they will be good. Also, AWA, I am expecting 6 (since that was standard throughout)...
Now, given all this, I would be really thankful to you all if you can evaluate me. Should I go ahead and apply? Should I re-take the test? Thanks a lot, once again for all the help.
